GB/T 14637-2007 Determination of copper and zinc in industrial circulating chilled down water and scale by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). For water samples and scale samples, the standard specifies the treatment method respectively to convert copper and zinc elements into detectable states. The element atomization is made by atomizer, and the absorption degree of specific wavelength light is measured by light spectrum instrument (Absorbance). According to the pre-constructed copper and zinc standard Linear dispersion, the content is accurately calculated by Absorbance. From sample collection, processing to result analysis, the whole process is strictly standardized. This standard provides a key basis for water quality assessment and equipment maintenance of industrial circulating chilled down systems, helping to ensure stable production operation.
