GB/T 1819.17-2006 Determination of mercury in tin concentrate by cold atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The tin concentrate samples are pretreated to convert mercury into detectable forms. The mercury atomization is made by cold atomization technology, and the absorption degree of mercury atoms to specific wavelengths is measured by Light spectrum instrument, and then the mercury content is calculated according to the standard Linear dispersion. The standard details the sample preparation, instrument operation, measurement procedures and data processing methods to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results. The standard provides an important means for mass monitoring of tin concentrates, which can effectively detect mercury content and help related industries to ensure the safety of product masses and the environment.
