GB/T 1819.16-2006 provides for the determination of silver content in tin concentrates by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). It first processes the tin concentrate sample to dissolve the silver element. Flame atomization is used to make silver atomization, and Light spectrum instrument determines the absorption degree of silver atoms to specific wavelengths of light, that is, Absorbance. According to the pre-established standard Linear dispersion, the silver content is accurately calculated by Absorbance. The standard has detailed specifications for sample preparation, instrument operation and data processing, which provides key technologies for tin concentrate mass detection and helps to evaluate the value of tin concentrate. It is widely used in tin mining, beneficiation and smelting industries.
