GB/T 20380.3-2006 Determination of lead content in starch and its products by electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The standard stipulates a detailed Sample Handling process, so that the lead element in the sample can be effectively extracted and detected. Using electrothermal atomization to atomize lead, the absorption degree of lead atoms to specific wavelengths of light is measured by Light spectrum instrument, and the lead content is accurately calculated according to the pre-constructed standard Linear dispersion. The whole determination process has strict requirements on instrument operation, calibrating and data processing. The standard provides a key basis for mass control of starch and its products, helping to monitor lead contamination and ensure food safety.
