GB/T 6730.60-2005 Determination of nickel content in iron ore by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). The iron ore sample is pretreated to dissolve the nickel element into the solution. Using a Flame atomization device to atomize nickel, the degree of absorption of nickel atoms to specific wavelengths of light is determined by a light spectrum meter, known as Absorbance. The nickel content in iron ore is accurately estimated by Absorbance according to the pre-established standard Linear dispersion. The standard provides a key technology for mass detection of iron ore, which helps to evaluate the value of ore and is widely used in related industries such as iron ore mining, mineral processing, smelting and steel production.
