GB/T 18932.12-2002 Specifies the determination of the content of 11 elements in honey. Using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), the honey sample is first treated to dissolve potassium, sodium and other elements. With the help of AtomicAbsorption Spectroscopy, Absorbance is determined sequentially according to the absorption characteristics of each element atom to specific wavelengths of light. Then the content of each element is calculated by the standard Linear dispersion.
