GB/T 6609.12-2004 is a standard for the determination of zinc oxidation in aluminum oxide. Using flame absorption atomic spectroscopy (AAS) method, the aluminum oxide sample is pretreated such as digestion, so that the zinc oxidation is converted into zinc ions and enters the solution. The zinc atomization is carried out through the Flame atomization device, and the degree of absorption of specific wavelength light by zinc atoms is measured by the Light spectrum instrument, that is, Absorbance. According to the relationship between Absorbance and concentration, the content of zinc oxidation in aluminum oxide is accurately calculated. This standard provides a reliable means for aluminum oxide mass assessment, guarantees the mass of related products, and plays an important role in aluminum oxide production and application fields.
