The GB/T 4893.8-1985 standard specifies a method for measuring the abrasion resistance of paint films on the surface of wooden furniture parts. It was drafted by the Shanghai Furniture Research Institute and proposed by the Ministry of Light Industry. The standard uses a paint film abrasion meter to evaluate the abrasion resistance of the paint film by measuring the degree of abrasion of the paint film after a certain number of abrasion turns.
