GB/T 223.46-1989 《Methods for chemical analysis of iron, steel and alloy--The flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of magnesium content》 Related products

The GB/T 223.46-1989 standard specifies a specific method for the determination of mg content in steel and alloys by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), which is suitable for the determination of mg content in cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel and superalloys. The determination range is 0.002% to 0.100%. Absorbance measurement is performed at a wavelength of 285.2 nm by spraying the sample solution into a flame and using a mg Hollow cathode lamp as a Light source. To eliminate interference, strontium chloride is used as an interference inhibitor and a similar amount of iron or nickel is added to the calibrated Linear dispersion of the sample solution.
