This standard specifies the classification, indicators and limits of groundwater mass, which are applicable to the investigation, monitoring, evaluation and management of groundwater mass. The standard divides groundwater into five categories according to its physical, chemical and biological properties, and proposes the scope of application and mass requirements of various types of groundwater. By comprehensively regulating groundwater mass, the standard provides a scientific basis for the rational utilization and protection of groundwater resources, aiming to ensure the safety and sustainability of groundwater.
