GB/T 14848-1993 is a groundwater mass standard. It divides groundwater mass into five categories according to the quality of groundwater in our country, from Class I to Class V corresponding to different water quality. The standard sets clear limits on the sensory properties of groundwater and dozens of parameters such as general chemical indicators, toxicological indicators, microbial indicators, such as pH value, Hardness, Fluoride, Nitrate, etc. At the same time, it stipulates the sampling method and monitoring Frequency of water quality monitoring. The standard provides an important basis for groundwater mass evaluation, resource protection and rational development and utilization, and helps to ensure the sustainability of groundwater resources.
