This standard applies to the determination of carbon disulfide content in industrial wastewater. It adopts the copper diethylamine acetate Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry, which is suitable for the detection of wastewater from industries such as rubber, chemical fiber and chemical raw materials. The measurement range is 0.045~ 1.46 mg/L, and the interference can be separated by aeration or absorbed and removed by lead acetate solution. The standard specifies the operation steps of forming a yellow-brown complex between carbon disulfide and diethylamine in the presence of copper salt and measuring it at 430 nm wavelength, providing a scientific basis for industrial wastewater treatment and environment monitoring.
