This standard specifies a method for the determination of TNT (TNT) content in water quality using the Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry, which is suitable for the detection of industrial wastewater from ammunition charging. The method has a measurement range of 0.2 to 4.0 mg/L and a minimum detection concentration of 0.05 mg/L. TNT forms a red complex under the action of sodium sulfite and chlorohexadecyl pyridine. Absorbance measurement at 466 nm wavelength by spectrophotometer to determine the content of TNT. This method is suitable for monitoring environmental pollutants.
