This standard applies to the detection of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-Xylene, m-Xylene, o-Xylene, cumene and rene styrene in industrial wastewater and surface water. Gas chromatography, CG, the minimum detection concentration is 0.005 mg/L, and the determination range is 0.005~ 12 mg/L. The standard method can accurately detect benzene series in water by liquid gas chromatograph and carbon disulfide extraction gas chromatograph, which is suitable for environmental protection monitoring and industrial pollution control.
