This standard applies to the determination of hexavalent chromium content in ground water and industrial wastewater. Diphenylcarbazide Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry was used for analysis, and the determination range was 0.004mg/L to 1.0mg/L. This method generates purplish-red compounds through hexavalent chromium and Color developing reagent, chromogenic agent, and is determined by spectrophotometry at 540nm wavelength. It should be noted that elements such as iron and molybdenum may interfere with the determination results at high concentrations.
