GB/T 7466-1987 《Water quality--Determination of total chromium》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of total chromium content in ground water and industrial wastewater, mainly by oxidation of trivalent chromium to hexavalent chromium and using the diphenylcarbazide Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry. The applicable measurement range is 0.004mg/L to 1.0mg/L. This method uses hexavalent chromium and Color developing reagent, chromogenic agent to generate purplish-red compounds under acidic conditions for photometric determination. Interfering substances such as iron, molybdenum, vanadium, etc. may affect the results, so necessary treatment needs to be carried out before determination.
