This standard specifies the determination of aluminum oxide in limestone, dolomite and metallurgical lime by the Chrome Azure S Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry and complexed Titrimetric method. The Chrome Azure S Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry is suitable for samples with aluminum oxide content in the range of 0.01% to 0.75%, while the complexed Titrimetric method is used for the determination of aluminum oxide content greater than 0.5%.
