This standard defines a method of operation for the determination of the growth phenotype of industrial microbial strains using microdroplet Nephilometry, applicable to bacterial, fungal and microalgae strains in industrial fermentation. METHODS Single-cell parcel droplets are generated by microfluidic chip and fostered. The growth rate of the strain is calculated by measurement of the area of the bacteria in the droplets. The reagents and materials used are specified in the standard, including secondary water and base foster bases in accordance with GB/T 6682, which can be formulated according to the method of GB/T 14926.43 or using commercial prefabricated foster bases.
