GB/T 13747.16-2017 《Methods for chemical analysis of zirconium and zirconium alloys—Part 16:Determination of chloric content—Silver chloride nephelometry and ion selective electrode method》 Related products

This standard specifies two methods for the determination of chlorine in zirconium and zirconium alloys. It is suitable for the determination of chlorine content in sponge zirconium, zirconium and zirconium alloys. The measurement range of method 1 (silver chloride Nephilometry) is 0.0010% to 0.030%, and method 2 (ion selective electrode method) is 0.0004% to 0.020%. When the methods are crossed, silver chloride Nephilometry is used as the arbitration method. In silver chloride Nephilometry, the sample is dissolved with hydrofluoric acid, and the silver chloride suspension is formed by the reaction of chloride ions and silver ions in nitric acid medium. The suspension is stabilized by ethylene glycol, and its turbidity value is measured by spectrophotometer. The reagents used in this method include ethylene glycol, hydrofluoric acid, Boricacid solution, nitric acid, silver nitrate (AgNO3) solution and chlorine standard solution.
