This standard specifies the method for the determination of chlorides (Cl) in fluoroalkanes, which is detected by Nephilometry. It is suitable for the determination of chlorides in fluoroalkanes with a detection sensitivity of 0.0003% volume fraction. The determination method is based on the reaction of chlorides with silver nitrate (AgNO3) methanol saturated solution under acidic conditions to generate silver chloride settling, and the content of chlorides is determined by visual observation of the generation of settling. The standard also specifies the sampling method of fluoroalkanes under different pressures, and requires the sampling container to be vacuum dried to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of the sample.
