This document specifies the mechanical melting point test method for aluminum alloys, which is applicable to the mechanical melting point test and parameter optimization of aluminum alloy sheets or profiles during hot working processes such as welding, heat treatment, casting and forging. Mechanical melting point is defined as the interval between the peak temperature and the trough temperature in the Linear dispersion of residual stress of metal materials after thermal cycling at different peak temperatures. During the test, the starting temperature and end temperature of the mechanical melting point are determined by measuring the relationship between temperature change and residual stress during thermal cycling. This standard combines relevant testing equipment and methods to ensure accurate evaluation of the thermal processing performance of aluminum alloys.
