GB/T 42175-2022 《Determination of Copper, Lead, Zinc, Cadmium and Chromium in the drilling cuttings and mud from ocean petroleum exploitation—Microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of copper, lead, zinc, cadmium and chromium in drilling slurries and drill cuttings in offshore oil exploration and development using microwave digestion-Inductance coupled plasma mass spectrometry. This method is suitable for water-based slurries and drill cuttings samples with oil content less than 15%. The sample is digested by nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide and hydrofluoric acid, and then the sample is atomized by argon in dilute nitric acid medium and atomized in plasma. The interfering ions are eliminated using a four-stage rod collision/reaction cell, and finally the concentration of each element is calculated by the Mass Spectrometer signal and Sensitivity factor. This method ensures accurate determination of harmful metal elements in drilling slurries and cuttings produced during offshore oil exploration.
