This standard specifies a method for determining the content of sulfur, fluorine, chlorine and bromine in graphene powder using combustion Ion chromatography. It is suitable for analyzing the concentration of these elements in graphene powder. The sample is cracked at high temperature in an oxygen stream, and fluorine, chlorine and bromine are converted into halogenated hydrogen gas, and sulfur is converted into oxide gas. These gases are transported to the absorption liquid by developing solvent and converted into corresponding acids. Fluorine ions, chloride ions, bromine ions and sulfate ions are separated by Chromatography Column, and their conductivity is determined by Conductivity Detector to determine the concentration of each component. This method provides an accurate means for the determination of trace elements in graphene powder.
