This standard specifies a method for the determination of nickel content in zirconium and zirconium alloys by the dimethylglyoxime Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry and Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method (ICP-OES). It is suitable for the determination of nickel content in sponge zirconium and its alloys, and the determination range is 0.002% to 0.40%. Among them, the ICP-OES method is an arbitration method when the measurement ranges overlap. This standard provides a scientific analysis method for the nickel content in zirconium materials.
