This standard specifies a method for the determination of antimony and tin in carbon steel and low alloy steel by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES). It is suitable for steel materials with a chromium content of less than 1.50% and a nickel content of less than 2.00%. The determination range is 0.0020% -0.12% for antimony and 0.0020% -0.13% for tin. This method provides an accurate means of composition analysis through the established calibrated Linear dispersion.
