This standard specifies the method for the determination of melamine content in fertilizers by Ion chromatography, which is suitable for the detection of various compound fertilizers, organic-inorganic compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, slow-release fertilizers and Miscellaneous nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. The determination range is 15.0 mg/kg to 100 mg/kg.
