This standard specifies a method for the determination of zinc and lead isotope abundance ratios in water by multi-receiver Inductance Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), which is suitable for the analysis of zinc and lead natural isotope samples after chemical purification. The method can determine zinc content in the range of 5 ng/g to 3000 ng/g and lead content in the range of 0.5 ng/g to 500 ng/g, which is suitable for isotopic analysis of geological and environmental samples.
