This standard specifies a method for the determination of the contents of nine elements such as calcium, mg, copper and lead in lithium carbonic acid, lithium hydroxide monohydrate and lithium chloride by Inductance Coupled Plasma Emission Light Spectrometry (ICP-AES). The applicable determination range is 0.0001% to 0.0080%. By acidifying the sample and performing matrix matching determination in nitric acid medium, the content of each element can be obtained by ICP-AES instrument with accurate results.
