The GB/T 4324.21-2012 standard specifies the determination method of chromium content in tungsten powder, tungsten bar, tungsten trioxide and other materials, and the application range is 0.0002% to 0.02%. The method dissolves the sample by using hydrogen peroxide and ammonia water, and separates the tungstic acid with muriatic acid to remove the matrix. Next, the emission intensity of chromium is measured at the recommended wavelength by using an Inductance coupled plasma emission light spectrum instrument, and the mass concentration of chromium is calculated in combination with the working Linear dispersion method. The standard also sets requirements for the purity of the reagents and materials used to ensure the accuracy of the analysis results.
