GB/T 8151.9-2012 standard specifies a method for the determination of fluorine in zinc concentrates, using the Ion selective electrode method. This method is suitable for the analysis of zinc concentrates with fluorine content in the range of 0.050% to 0.50%. During the determination process, the sample is first melted with potassium hydroxide for analysis, and then leached and filtered with water to remove interfering elements such as iron and lead. Then, the solution acidity is adjusted and the ionic strength is adjusted using ammonium citrate. Finally, the fluorine ion selective electrode and the saturated Calomel electrode are used to measure the potential difference of fluorine to determine the fluorine content. The specifications of the required reagents and the preparation method of the standard solution are described in detail in the standard to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of the test.
