The GB/T 26193-2010 standard specifies a method for the determination of the migrable elements antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium in toy materials by Inductance Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS). This standard applies to toy materials specified in GB 6675 and provides two detection limits: in the case of off-line addition of internal standards, the detection limit is 0.25 mg/kg; in the case of online addition of internal standards, the detection limit is 0.05 mg/kg. The method is based on the analysis of Mass charge ratio by Mass Spectrometer after the sample is desolvated, atomized and ionized in the plasma, and the content of the element to be measured is qualitatively and quantitatively detected.
