The GB/T 26289-2010 standard specifies methods for the determination of various impurity elements in high-purity selenium, including boron, aluminum, iron, zinc, arsenic, silver, tin, antimony, tellurium, mercury, mg, titanium, nickel, copper, gallium, cadmium, lead and bismuth. The standard uses Inductance Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) for analysis, in which boron, aluminum, iron, zinc, arsenic, silver, tin, antimony, tellurium and mercury are determined directly; while for mg, titanium, nickel, copper, gallium, cadmium, lead and bismuth, the determination is carried out after separation by cation exchange. The standard details the reagents used and their preparation methods to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of the test.
