This standard specifies a method for the determination of tin, cerium and lanthanum in silver alloys by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) (ICP-AES). It is suitable for the determination of AgCe, AgSnCeLa, AgCuSnCe, AgCuNiCe and other alloys, and the determination range is 0.2% to 2%. The standard regulates the dissolving of samples, the separation of silver and the analysis operation, providing a reliable technical basis for the analysis of the elemental content of alloys.
