This standard specifies a method for the determination of lead content in ferrotungsten using Polarography and Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), suitable for the determination of lead content in the range of 0.001% to 0.12%. Among them, Polarography is suitable for the determination of lead content at lower levels (0.001% to 0.05%), while ICP-AES is suitable for the determination of lead content at higher levels (0.01% to 0.12%). The standard provides a scientific basis for the accurate determination of lead content in ferrotungsten, ensuring product quality control.
