This standard specifies a method for the determination of zirconium and gallium in gold alloys by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) (ICP-AES). It is suitable for alloys such as AuNiFeZr and AuGa, and the determination range is 0.1% to 2% of zirconium and gallium. The method dissolves the sample by acid and uses the Internal standafard method for quantitative analysis to ensure the accurate determination of zirconium and gallium in precious metal alloys, providing a standardized detection method for the composition analysis and quality control of precious metal materials.
