This standard specifies a method for the determination of copper and manganese content in gold alloys by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method (ICP-AES), which is suitable for AuAgCuGd, AuAgCuMnGd, AuNiCu and other alloys. The determination range is 0.5% to 6%. The method dissolves the sample by acid and uses the Internal afstandard method for quantitative analysis.
