This standard defines a method for the determination of small color differences in ceramic tiles using a Color measuring instrument. It is suitable for monochrome glazed tiles with uniform Color and flat surface. The method includes the use of a color difference meter to measure the Color of the reference sample and the test sample, calculate its color difference (Delta Ecmc), and compare it with a preset tolerance to determine whether the Color match is acceptable. The standard requires the use of a Reflection spectrum photometer or tristimulus values colorimeter, and specifies the Geometry conditions and steps for measurement. The final result determines whether the color difference of the tile meets the requirements based on the calculated Delta Ecmc value.
