This standard defines a method for the determination of small color differences in ceramic tiles using a Color measuring instrument. It is suitable for monochrome glazed tiles with uniform Color and flat surface. The method includes the use of a color difference meter to measure the Color of the reference sample and the test sample, calculate its color difference (Delta Ecmc), and compare it with a preset tolerance to determine whether the Color match is acceptable.
