GB/T 12000-2003 is used to determine the degree of impact of plastics in heat and humidity, water spray and salt fog environments. The standard specifies in detail the test equipment and operation methods to simulate these three environments, such as Humidity test chamber, water spray device, Salt Spray Tester parameter setting. Plastic samples are placed in the corresponding environment for a certain period of time. Appearance, physical performance, chemical performance and other aspects are observed and detected to evaluate the environmental resistance of plastics. The standard provides a key mass assessment basis for the application of plastics in different harsh environments, helping to screen suitable materials to ensure the performance and life of plastic products in complex environments.
