JB/T 6048-1992 Salt bath heat treatment standard specifies the equipment requirements, salt bath management, process operation and safety and environment protection of salt bath heat treatment. It is applicable to the heating and chilling down of metal workpieces in neutral salt bath or nitrate bath. The standard describes in detail the design of salt bath furnace, requirements of cleaning device and the performance and adjustment method of salt bath. At the same time, it specifies the preparation, process operation and post-treatment steps before treatment, emphasizing the standards of equipment maintenance and mass inspection.
