GB/T 5714-1997 specifies the test method for the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products to seawater. It specifies the simulation preparation method of seawater required for the test, and specifies the test equipment and conditions, such as thermostatic device, soaking time, etc. The colour fastness level is determined by immersing the Spinning & weaving product sample in the simulated seawater and observing its fading, discoloration and staining degree. The standard provides a basis for evaluating the Color Stability of Spinning & weaving products in marine environment or contact with seawater scenarios, and helps Spinning & weaving companies to produce products that meet the corresponding colour fastness requirements to meet the needs of related industries.
