This standard specifies the test method for measuring the whiteness and chroma of Spinning & weaving fibers by Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry, which is suitable for the determination of various types of Spinning & weaving fibers. The whiteness and chroma of fibers are evaluated by measuring the tristimulus values, lightness index and chroma coefficient of fiber samples. The standard provides a scientific test basis for quality control and color management of Spinning & weaving products.
