This standard specifies the performance requirements, test procedures and reports of equipment required for the transport of Encasement and unit cargo for spray testing. The purpose of this standard is to evaluate the water resistance performance of Encasement and cargo under rain conditions and their ability to protect the contents. Spray testing can be carried out either alone or as a pretreatment method for Miscellaneous testing to study the effect of water spraying on the strength of Encasement.
