This standard replaces GB/T 16265-1996 and specifies the test method for the compatibility of Encasement materials. It is applicable to the compatibility test of neutral Encasement materials with metals, plastics and other materials, and the compatibility test between gas phase anti-rust Encasement materials and metals or heat-sealable Encasement materials. In addition, it also covers the compatibility assessment of liquid and semi-liquid strippable plastics and metals. Compared with the 1996 version, this standard has revised the test material, cleaning procedures and compatibility test conditions of gas phase anti-rust materials, and added relevant operating procedures.
