This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and content of the test report of the equipment required for sinusoidal variable frequency vibration testing of Encasement and single cargo. This test can be used to evaluate the strength of Encasement and single cargo under sinusoidal variable frequency vibration or resonance and its ability to protect the contents. This standard can be used alone or as part of a series of Encasement tests to provide the basis for Reliability testing of transported Encasement.
