This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, Encasement, transportation and storage of boron trifluoride. It is applicable to boron trifluoride products prepared with Boricacid, hydrogen fluoride and fuming sulfuric acid or sulfur trioxide as raw materials. The standard does not apply to boron trifluoride for semiconductor manufacturing. Through the implementation of this standard, the mass and safety of boron trifluoride in industrial applications are ensured, providing normative guidance for the chemical industry.
