This standard specifies the test method for testing the adhesion of bare wire platings, involving test equipment, sample preparation, measurement procedures and result evaluation. It is mainly applicable to the inspection of the adhesion of tin, nickel and other platings on the surface of copper conductors of Wire and cable to ensure the durability and Stability of platings in use. This standard should be used in conjunction with GB/T 4909.1-2009 and is an important reference for mass testing of Wire and cable products.
