This standard specifies the terms, definitions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for high-frequency potentiostatic industrial X-Rays flaw detectors. It applies to high-frequency potentiostatic X-Rays flaw detectors with a voltage Frequency of not less than 40 kHz and the voltage applied to the X-Rays tube is constant DC. The standard provides technical specifications for the design, manufacture, testing and application of such equipment to ensure its effectiveness and safety in nondestructive testing.
