This standard specifies the protection performance requirements, structural protection requirements, protection and monitoring requirements during use of industrial X-Rays flaw detectors below 500kV (including general structure, fine structure, super protection and full protection X-Rays machines). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, installation and use of X-Rays machines below 500kV to ensure that the basic requirements of radiation protection are met during use.
