This standard applies to small pressure steam Autoclave with a volume not exceeding 60L, and specifies its classification, use, verification method, monitoring method and evaluation index. The standard defines different types of sterilizing cycles, such as Class B, Class N and Class S sterilizing cycles, and introduces the use of full load testing and sterilizing process verification devices, which provides a scientific basis for the sterilizing effect monitoring and performance evaluation of small Autoclave.
