The standard is applicable to Cold rolled steel plates and strips used in automotive, electronics, home appliances and other industries. It covers the amount of galvanized steel plates and strips, the type of galvanized layer, Accuracy grade and surface preparation. The standard also specifies the marking method of steel plates and strips, and provides the nominal size range and technical requirements, including chemical composition and smelting deoxidization method. Steel produced using this standard is not suitable for direct open-air use without further surface coating treatment.
